Guys I had a lot of fun blogging for about 2 weeks last Christmas 🎄 and got lost in the sauce playing a caricature of myself, like Larry David in Curb, but if he'd cracked.
Anyways, I got bored and moved on to other things, haha :)) It could be another 15 years before I'm tempted to blog again! Hope you enjoyed. I think I've done wayyy more than enough here, loll.
2 parting gifts--
I first heard "I Got Loaded" (track 2) on a wild roadtrip out West and it was an instant hit, perfectly capturing that moment in my life. Otherwise, I don't know Lil Bob's music well at all, but the opener is killer too! His voice is tinged with sadness in such a beautiful bittersweet way, even if some later tracks are less memorable for me.
This is an album I LOVE love and I think it's easily overlooked *because* it's a classic! It feels at once so alien, and so familiar. Posting so you don't forget--or can find out--how awesome it is! Also, it gave me my blogging handle... haha.. so I think I've finally come full circle. ⭕️⏺️
